Elizabeth Robinson, Program Manager
Elizabeth has a keen interest in understanding why people make certain decisions, and how to support them in making better ones, especially in insecure contexts. She is excited to apply this curiosity to her work overseeing MAGENTA’s portfolio in Afghanistan, which includes projects on education, good governance, mine risk, and research. Elizabeth also contributes to business development in Afghanistan and marketing efforts, in particular to disseminate research findings that have important practical and policy implications. Previously, Elizabeth worked on multi-sector program development for humanitarian and development operations in Jordan, Iraq, and Afghanistan, including in the sectors of education, livelihoods, early recovery, and protection.
Elizabeth holds a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations and Economics from Tufts University in the US. She speaks native English, conversational Arabic and Spanish, and is learning Dari.
