Lauren Matarazzo, Intern
Lauren joined Magenta guided by the desire to work closely with others in order to effect positive change. She has experience coordinating educational programs for refugee students as well as low-income and marginalized communities. During her studies, Lauren began incorporating visual ethnography into her work and acknowledges the importance of mixed methods research and evaluation. Passionate about photography, Lauren is a strong advocate of art curriculums in schools as well as in informal settings.
She holds an M.S. Ed. in International Educational Development from the University of Pennsylvania and a B.S. in Public Health and Policy from New York University. She is currently learning Arabic and speaks fluent Spanish in addition to her native English.
