Ana Cecilia Campos, Magenta Associate
Ana Cecilia Campos is a specialist in gender and migration. Previously, she served as Programme Manager for the Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) region, where she worked as a gender and migration expert with over ten years of experience designing and delivering development interventions in complex contexts. During that time, she contributed to projects focused on social and economic development, migration, and the rule of law in collaboration with UN agencies, the US Government, and civil society organizations. Her work emphasized the integration of behavioural insights into development programming.
In her previous role at MAGENTA, Ana played a central role in managing and coordinating diverse SBC projects that fostered positive change across the LAC region. She designed, developed, and implemented complex programmes across the region, addressing thematic areas such as Migration (Brazil, Mexico), WASH (Paraguay, Panama), Health (Mexico), and Climate and Environment (Paraguay).
Ana holds a Master’s degree in Poverty and Development from the Institute of Development Studies (IDS), with a focus on gender and social inclusion. She is a native Spanish speaker and fluent in English.
