Hamza Kechich, Programme Officer

Hamza is a Programme Officer in MAGENTA's Middle East and North Africa team, where he's instrumental in researching, analyzing, designing, and implementing social and behavioural change programs in the Middle East and Africa. His work spans crucial areas such as gender equality, nutrition, child protection, risk education, social cohesion, health, and climate change.

With a keen interest in the role of research and innovation for development, Hamza has X years' experience with X...., notable experience with CARA - European Cluster for Mobility Solutions. There, he contributed to the development and execution of European transport and mobility projects and was involved in the European Commission's research and innovation programming. Later, at the Africa 50 collective, he managed projects focusing on direct diaspora investment in Africa as part of the Economy and Development Unit.

Hamza's holds a Master's in International Relations from Panthéon-Assas University, a Master's in African and Mediterranean Studies from Paris-Sorbonne University, and BA in Economic and Social Administration. He is pursuing an advanced Master's programme at Sciences Po Paris. Fluent in French and English, he also possesses conversational skills in Spanish and Arabic, with a basic knowledge of German.
