Lilia Othman Challougui, Psychologist and Parenting specialist - Tunisia

Lilia is a researcher in the field of mental health and trauma on the subjects of parenting, children and teenagers. She teaches within the psychology department at the Higher Institute of Human Sciences in Tunis.

Lilia has expertise in counselling, training and care or support in educational or therapeutic structures for autistic, disabled or disadvantaged children and adolescents. She is General Secretary of STP, the Tunisian Psychology Association, as well as part of the association for Psychological Research and Information (ARIP, Ibnou Charf). She is a trainer in research methodology at the Research Institute on Contemporary Maghreb (IRMC). She is a Consultant for foreign organisations such as Santé Sud, Handicap International, Magenta as well as for national organisations, such as The National Youth Observatory, the CAWTAR, the Ministry of Women’s Affairs and the Ministry of Social Affairs. 

She co-directed two works, “Writing About Women: Reflexive Feedback on a Research Experience" and “Writing About Young People: Juvenile Realities Questioned by Young Research in Tunisia”
