Rania Almuakat, SBC Intern

Rania is our SBC intern in Amman, Jordan. Rania provides programme support to the MENA team, contributing to projects on strategic communications in Oman, nutrition in Bangladesh, and modern family planning and birth spacing methods in Iraq.

Rania's passion lies in social impact which led her to implement an action project called "Sehhetna," a zero-budget project addressing mental health issues in Jordanian universities. She worked as a Professional Exchange Intern in Vermont, USA, through participating in the US. Jordan Leadership Exchange Program where she honed her skills in program analysis, cross-cultural understanding, and community engagement.

Rania holds a Bachelor’s degree in Korean and English languages from the University of Jordan. She is fluent in English, proficient in Korean, and has a basic understanding of Turkish.
