Amina Magnin, Behavioural Research Intern

Amina is a Behavioural Research Intern at MAGENTA, supporting the design and implementation of social and behavioural change (SBC) research across various projects.

Amina’s background lies in international development and humanitarian action, strategic communications, and refugee rights advocacy. She has worked in Greece, Spain, the United Arab Emirates, and Canada with various organisations, with a focus on refugee protection and integration support across Europe and Canada, and holistic, community-led development programming in Malawi. With nearly three years of experience in digital marketing and communications, Amina has applied hope-based messaging to strengthen fundraising and advocacy campaigns, as well as contributed to community-based protection initiatives supporting refugees and displaced populations.

Amina is currently pursuing an MSc in International Humanitarian Action through the NOHA+ Erasmus Mundus programme, and holds a BA in International Development Studies, Political Science and Social Entrepreneurship from McGill University. She speaks native English, French, and Arabic, and has advanced proficiency in Spanish.
