Lana Anabtawi, SBC Programme Manager for Asia

Lana is MAGENTA’s SBC Programme Manager for Asia. She is a programme management specialist with over 9 years' experience working with INGOs on designing, implementing, managing, and evaluating social development and impact programmes. Lana has led projects on a range of thematic areas including local economic development, women's rights, tourism, education, and gender equality.

At MAGENTA, Lana manages and coordinates complex SBC programmes from incpetion to close out across the Asia and MENA regions. She has contributed to the design and implementation of SBC strategies and campaigns in Iraq (UNFPA), Uzbekistan (M&C Saatchi World Services), South Asia (UNICEF), Tajikistan (UNICEF), Myanmar (UNICEF), and Jordan (USAID). As a MAGENTA Academy trainer, she has led capacity building and skills development training to actors in governments, local and international NGOs, development agencies, and the private sector.

She holds a Master's degree in International Business from EAE Business School in Barcelona, and a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Ryerson University in Toronto. She speaks English, Arabic, and conversational Spanish.
