Security and Stabilisation

Lasting peace and stability go far beyond government security policies and top-level strategies. They begin with the people living in protracted conflicts and unstable regions. Viewing these individuals as agents of change, we leverage participatory approaches and community engagement to design evidence-based interventions that address the root causes of instability and build pathways to sustainable peace.

Our work spans a range of critical areas, including the recruitment of youth by armed gangs in Central America, the spread of mis- and disinformation through social media in Lebanon, and the challenges of refugee integration in Iraq. By applying our expertise in media capacity development and strategic communications, we counter harmful narratives, strengthen community resilience, and empower individuals to resist exploitation and misinformation. We also focus on gender-based violence in its many forms, ensuring that our interventions foster safe, inclusive environments where all individuals can thrive.
